Our Team
Meet our management team:
Kevin J. Durr
Cofounder and Vice President of notsoldseparately
Kevin is a cofounder of notsoldseparately,
bringing experience as a consultant, analyst, senior software engineer, project manager, and a
passionate and gifted programmer. Completely self taught, Kevin became involved with Internet
technologies as an early pioneer of Microsoft commerce solutions by launching WineAccess.com
in 1996, one of the very first live Site Server Web sites.
Kevin’s skills allow him to comprehensively visualize each project from start to finish.
He is extremely customer focused, and this focus helps him to see the big picture, both
technically and from a business standpoint. Kevin is a wonderful communicator, grasping new
technologies quickly, understanding where they fit into existing architectures and systems,
and effectively disseminating that information to others. He has written technical articles
on the use of Site Server Membership Services with Visual InterDev which were published in the
Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) library and the Visual InterDev Resource Kit.
Kevin believes that programming is art, and that all great programmers are artists. He
encourages everyone’s creative outlets whatever they may be: writing beautiful code, playing
an instrument, expressing themselves artistically in the fine arts or in performance, or
writing great code.
Amy J.V. Durr
Cofounder and President of notsoldseparately
Amy is a cofounder of notsoldseparately, bringing a multidisciplinary background to her
role. With degrees in English, Chemistry, and Library Science, she has the tools to creatively
plan, organize, and construct Web sites.
She views herself as a perfectionistic Web producer who knows just enough about programming
to be truly dangerous, but is organized and efficient enough to ensure consistent and
error-free pages. She loves the discipline of coding HTML and the inherent challenges it
presents. Working alongside her hand-picked staff of talented HTML programmers and graphic
designers allows her to help create Web sites which are rich in content, intuitive, and fun.
Amy is devoted to the principles upon which the Internet was founded and is passionate
about pursuing not-for-profit clients. For her, the power and the beauty of the Internet lies
in its ability to reach out to all, often providing resources which would be difficult to
obtain otherwise.
